Rotary celebrated Membership and New Club Development Month with the launch of its 9th Annual Buddy Program.  The objectives of the Buddy Program were to increase membership engagement; provide fun and fellowship; achieve Rotary’s goals; provide opportunities for Prospective Rotarians; show appreciation to members; strengthen the Club; promote Rotary’s Brand/Areas of Focus, Team building, Leadership, Community Building and Rotarians’ interest in the Environment.
During the Buddy Program the members were assigned to groups of five (5) people resulting in a total of five (5) groups.  The groups were balanced with strong Rotarians with the ability to motivate and strengthen members who were not so engaged in or knowledgeable about Rotary.  Buddy pins were created with the group number and names of members.  Each week a series of challenges that assisted with achieving the objectives of the Buddy Program were given. Points were awarded to each group for each challenge.  The team with the most points at the end of Membership Month will be declared the winner, all groups will receive recognition/awards for their participation.
