Haresh L. Ramchandani, District Governor for Rotary District 7020, challenged the Eleuthera ‘Family of Rotary’ (Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and EarlyAct Clubs) at the weekly RCOE meeting held during his visit to “do all that we can do to be the change and to serve humanity”. What an incredible gathering of folks from across the island - who all left reenergized to join forces to create partnerships to improve local communities and the world through service.

DG Haresh participated fully in the planned activities for New Generations/Basic Education and Literacy Month. He visited Emma Cooper Primary, Central Eleuthera High and Preston Albury High Schools during his trip. DG Haresh used the opportunity to speak to each group of students on the importance of committing themselves to being a part of changing the world for good. DG Haresh also read to students in recognition of New Generations/Basic Education and Literacy Month. The book chosen was ‘Don’t Be Scared Little Cub’ for students at the Centre for Exceptional Learners.
