Royal Bahamas Defence Force At Rotary

Rotarians and residents of our island were privileged to have as our Guest Speaker - Acting Commodore Captain Tellis Bethel of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force make a presentation at Rotary meeting on the role that his organization play in maintaining peace in our country.  He also shared the plans for the Defence Force has the “Decentralize” its efforts and to create support bases in strategic locations around our country as a proactive approach to poaching, illegal migrants gaining access to our shores and trafficking in illegal weapons and drugs.  Acting Commodore gave attendees and opportunity to ask questions and a spirited and lively question and answer period ensued.
