THIS IS FAMILY OF ROTARY MONTH

My Fellow Rotarians,

This month begins what is widely known and celebrated in many places as the Festive Season. It is a time when people gather together in the spirit of goodwill to share happiness, joy and peace with those who are most important and special in their lives. It is also a time to give thanks and show genuine appreciation to those individuals, people and institutions that have made a valuable contribution to life and living as we now know it. The festive season is also a time set aside for giving and sharing ourselves and our treasures with others whose circumstances may be different from the one we know or experience, but whom are we called upon to take notice of and respond appropriately.

This December, as we celebrate the Festive Season in the Rotary Club of Eleuthera, I call upon the Family of Rotary, to look beyond where you have gazed before, to reach beyond your normal distance and touch lives you have not touched previously. In doing so, you will not only Light UP Rotary but also the lives of those you touch and inspire. I know that you can! I believe that you will!

Come let us celebrate this Festive Season with the most precious gift in the world  – PEOPLE!
