More focus on Road Safety

 MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT ELECT ROBYN CURRY

Good Day Everyone,

The Royal Bahamas Police Force( Eleuthera
District) and The One Eleuthera Foundation along with stakeholders,
the Rotary Club Of  Eleuthera, have launched a Road Safety campaign on the island which
began last week Thursday May 2nd with the placing of memorials at the
locations of the eight (8) fatalities.

Additionally The Minister of State in The Ministry of Transport & Aviation,
Senator Hon. Hope Strachan will be visiting the island on Friday May 10th,
to conduct road assessments and meet with the various stakeholders. Each
week throughout the month of May we hope to launch a new strategy and we
look forward to having the "cat eyes" including in this initiative.

We are grateful to the Rotary Club of West Nassau for partnering with us in
our efforts to keep the roads on the island safe for residents and visitors.
