ROTARIAN CELEBRATION!

Rotarians Sherry and Jacquie both celebrated birthdays during the week!

Rotarian Jacquie (also VP Cancer Society), and Rotarian Sherry (also volunteer/farmer Cancer Society) jointly cut a Cancer Awareness birthday cake that was adorned/decorated with multi-colored Cancer Awareness Ribbons. The first piece of cake was presented to President Julian Carey. Rotarian Jacquie gave the 2nd piece of cake to one of our 'Rotary kids' Mashana, who is a regular attendee (being able to do her home work in the holding room next door). Kudos to President of the Cancer Society Rotarian Juanita Pinder, and Rotarians Sue Culmer and Maisie Pinder, for coordinating this surprise birthday celebration/Cancer Awareness experience.

It is to be noted that the Rotary Club of Eleuthera is well known in the community for ongoing support of Cancer Society efforts, including the goal of the provision of an Imaging (Cancer Screening) Machine for the benefit of Eleuthera and neighboring islands.
