ROTARIAN IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Rotarian Maisie Pinder joined the Rotary Club of Eleuthera in 2012 and immediately got involved. She truly exemplifies the motto “Service Above Self” and serves the club in the area of Club Administration. A Community Outreach Coordinator for the One Eleuthera Foundation, Maisie travels the length and breadth of the island of Eleuthera reaching out to cancer survivors and their families, creating awareness and formulating programs to educate the population of Eleuthera concerning issues relating to the disease of breast cancer. She is also passionate about empowering women and girls and works closely with many groups to bring relief to the disenfranchised amongst us.
A true Rotarian, Maisie uses her vocation as Community Outreach Coordinator to highlight Rotary’s avenue of service “Maternal & Child Health”. She is an advocate that believes in looking out for others, especially women and children.
Her special skills include planning, organizing and mentoring the next generation.
